IT Infrastructure Engineer - 12 month FTC - remote

A great new opportunity for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys autonomy and is looking for a broad and varied role. Our client is a small but dedicated MSP offering support to their SME clients across London and Central England. As the IT Infrastructure Engineer, the main purpose of the role is to provide third line support to a portfolio of clients and respond to Cyber security cases, providing an active response to clients across a number of disaster recovery systems including Veeam, Acronis and Backup. You will also assist with migration and system improvement projects.  This is a 12 month FTC role with a strong potential to become permanent. The position is remote with travel to clients located nationally but mostly in the Greater London area,

Key Responsibilities:

The main purpose of the role is to provide 3 rd line support on a broad range of applications and hardware including Microsoft Office 365, Windows, Active Directory, SharePoint, network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS). You will also actively respond to Cyber security cases, providing an active response to clients across a number of disaster recovery systems including Veeam, Acronis and Backup You will possess the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and wider stakeholders, troubleshoot and resolve issues. provide technical advice and guidance to clients.

To be suitable for the role you will have the following:

Proven experience in responding to Cyber security issues.

Solid experience in delivering 3 rd line and on-site support.

Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365, InTune Windows, Azure, Active Directory, SharePoint and network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS).        

Through knowledge of Azure/Entra ID, On prem AD, Exchange, storage systems, Backup and recovery disaster systems.      

Ability to think on your feet and remain calm in a pressurised environment.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels.

Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

Experience working in an MSP would be advantageous.

The salary on offer for this role IT Infrastructure role is paying between £45,000 - £55,000 + benefits, depending on experience, plus pension with 25 days holiday.
