Onsite IT Field Support Engineer who has good IT troubleshooting and user facing skills is required to provide onsite deskside technical support for a multi award-winning Managed Service Provider.

SALARY: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum (depending on experience) with up to £2,000 Bonus + Benefits

LOCATION: Battersea, London (SW11)

You will be based on a client site in Battersea, London with travel once a month to regional sites in Evesham and Worcester. This will be 2 days per month with expenses reimbursed for travel and accommodation booked by the company.

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an OnsiteIT Field Support Engineerwho has good IT troubleshooting and user facing skills is required to provide onsite deskside technical support.

Working as the Onsite IT Field Support Engineer you will provide desktop support for all issues while responding to first line and second line service tickets.

As a successful candidate you will work with an awesome team and escalate all problems to the next level of support for guidance as well as contact third-party vendors for warranty service repair.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Onsite IT Field Support Engineer include:

  • Resolve level 1 and 2 support cases and tasks associated with end-user issues, physical and cloud infrastructure, and project related tasks
  • See the world through the eyes of the customer by setting client expectations appropriately throughout the troubleshooting process
  • Resolve incidents and requests related to but not limited to the following: Mail Application/Office 365 issues, Client/Server Connectivity issues, Time Sensitive and VIP incidents, File Restores, Remote Access incidents, Password Resets
  • Execute basic system maintenance including software and operating system patching, software version upgrades and critical patch applications
  • Active Directory (Entra ID) such as add/remove users, password resets, Group Policy application, task scheduling and new starter/leaver processes
  • Interface with common technology support tools such as Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), Mobile Device Management (InTune)

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Onsite IT Field Support Engineer you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience providing remote and deskside support
  • Excellent client facing skills
  • Good understanding of Windows operating systems and familiarity with networking basics
  • A real passion for helping people and a knack for explaining technical things to non-technical people
  • Flexibility for overnight stays visiting client sites on
