Freelance/ Contracted Field Engineer

If you have some previous IT support experience and are looking for some field engineering opportunities, we would love to hear from you.

We are currently recruiting I.T Field Engineers to work at various sites around Manchester.

About You:

  • This role will be largely field based and will often require you to travel to various sites, so it is imperative you have a valid driving licence, have your own vehicle.
  • An understanding on the fundamental skills of being a field engineer.
  • Must have previous experience of hardware IT engineering.
  • Lots of opportunities ranging from flexible, ad-hoc shifts to short and long term contract opportunities.
  • Practical skills such as DIY experience would be highly beneficial
  • Ex- Military- Desirable

Main Responsibilities of the IT Field Engineers:

  • Attending customer sites to install/ resolve IT equipment
  • Working closely with the IT support desk to feedback on support calls and ongoing issues
  • Liaising with account managers and updating customers with the progress and resolution of issues
