IT Desktop Support Manager - Leicestershire - c£45k

I am representing a highly reputable manufacturing organisation, assisting their search for an IT Desktop Support Manager, in the Leicester area.

As the main point of contact for all IT related issues, the role centres around the day to day management of incidents and ticket requests, providing comprehensive IT Support to internal and external users. The successful candidate will have experience providing 3rd level desktop support.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a fast-paced, varied and challenging environment that offers a structured career development plan, as the organisation look to maintain their leading status in the market as they look to embark on a brand new D365FO implementation project.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as main point of contact for all end users, setting up and maintaining user account set ups (AD, AAD & O365).
  • Networking IP Addressing and WLANS
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of end user devices (windows, android, iPhone, printers etc)
  • Troubleshoot issues, providing 1st to 3rd line support, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for complex problems.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, organisation and customer service skills at all levels within the organisation.
  • IT Help desk 1st and 2nd level support.
  • Windows 11, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Networking
  • Excellent working knowledge of troubleshooting commands and tools within Windows OS
  • CNNA / MSCE certifications desired.
