Contracts Manager (IT)
We are currently looking for an IT Contracts Manager with a strong understanding of technology related procurement contracting and ideally associated GDPR issues for sharing data and personal information
The role supports the business on supplier bids and deal management so is critical to ensure the contractual obligations and issues are addressed effectively and the business is protected from any risks
The role reports to the CFO / Head of Commercial who leads the commercial negotiations with potential clients or suppliers and this role whilst not 'client' facing will be heavily involved in the process.
Our client is a technology driven organisation based in central Manchester who help organisations optimise marketing spend and use analytics and AI to help them improve the efficiency of their call centres so they are more efficient in terms of sales and marketing. They improve their clients customer's experience and journey.
This can either be a Permanent role or may offered initially as a fixed term contract for 6 to 12 months.
The successful person will need a good understanding and experience of IT Contract Management experience as well as:experience of the following
- Supplier Management and procurement contracting experience
- Client/Bid/Deal Management
- Contractual Negotiations of complex commercial arrangements in a technology driven environment
- Contract Writing
- IT Procurement
- GDPR, / Data Protection knowledge is however a critical requirement
You should be CIPS qualified or equivalent and ideally PQE / QBE qualified or have worked in a legal / contracting environment. You know your way around complex contracts and documentation
