Invoice Processing Officer

A fantastic opportunity has emerged for an Invoice Processing Officer to join one of Berkshire's most improved Local Authority clients in a temporary post for the next three months.

This is a full time role (36 hours per week, Monday to Friday) with every possibility of an extension should the candidate perform well. Our client is keen to hire a candidate who will be analytically strong and should have strong and current knowledge about invoice processing. Candidates should ideally come from an accounting background, but this is not essential.

Invoice processor common duties involve verifying data, checking whether there is bounce backs and candidates should be able to handle a wide variety of scenarios in which each invoice is processed.

Other responsibilities of the post include:

* Following up a process of invoice both Internals and external
* Archiving of Invoice data according to its categories.
* Being able to work with different environments handling multiple clients and contacts for each invoice.
* Being able to find and spot the invoices which don't have PO or the documents which doesn't contain a PO.
