Salary £19,000 - £21,000 dependent on experience
Our client is an established, privately owned family business renowned for the quality of its superior kitchens. Since its establishment in 1987, with roots dating back to the mid 1940’s, they have grown a solid reputation as a provider to the specific needs of the contract kitchen market, supplying specialist ranges for the public housing sector, private developer market and trade merchants.
They now have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Assistant to join them on a permanent, full time basis. Working within a small team, this role is one that has real potential to expand and progress and they are therefore looking for individuals who are prepared to take on responsibility and grow with the role. In-house training will be provided.
As an Inventory Assistant, you will support the team in calculating and procuring the raw material requirements to facilitate the production of Kitchen / Bedroom furniture to meet sales demand, materials being both out-sourced and manufactured on site. You will raise purchase orders and maintain a control system for recording and tracking all procurement documents.
Ideally, our client is looking for candidates who have some knowledge/experience of material planning, coupled with experience of working in a fast-moving office environment. A working knowledge of SAGE Line 500 would be beneficial but is not essential as training will be provided.
With keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills you will be able to work on your own initiative and will have a good level of professionalism.
Hours for the role are Monday - Thursday 8am - 4:30pm, Friday 8am - 2:10pm, with some flexibility needed to suit business needs.
