My client is a progressive national broker with a strong presence in the market place. They are looking for an Insurance Placement Broker to join the broking team due to continued success and expansion.
Within this role you will be responsible for handling the placement of renewal business for the whole broking team and on accounts fee ranging from £15,000 to £150,000. You will manage the daily activity for the clients, involved in renewal strategies, broking presentations to the market and will work closely alongside account directors in managing the client’s expectations. In addition you will be the key referral point for all the account brokers. Where required you could also manage a small book of business yourself.
You must have a strong commercial/mid-corporate broking experience and strong relationships in the market. Be a confident person able to communicate clearly and concisely with clients and insurers, be good at creating new relationships with clients and underwriters and be a tough negotiator when considering insurers terms backed by good technical knowledge
