Infrastructure Engineer

A boutique trading firm is looking to hire an Infrastructure Engineer. You would be responsible for;

- Addressing end user requests throuh multiple communication channels in a 3rd line escalation capacity

- Designing, installing, configuring and maintaining servers, desktops and other IT equiptment

- Troubleshooting complex issues regarding, hardware, software, network and cloud (Azure AD) infrastructure

Therefore, they are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience;

- Strong knowledge of Office365 and other cloud hosted services (Intune, Azure)

- Proven experience in hardware support (servers, desktops, switches/routers)

- Proficient in scripting and automating admin tasks using PowerShell

- Good knowledge of virtualisation technologies, preferably Hyper-V, and VDI solutions (Horizon)

This role would require travel to other locations in the UK on a fortnightly/monthly basis.
