Infratructure Architect - Bristol - Banking

Technical Infrastructure Architect / Banking (Can be based in either Bristol or Edinburgh) as a contractor.

**Major Banking client**

My client requires a Technical Solution Infrastructure Architect to work in a team that design and deliver Infrastructure solutions to enable product delivery and transformation.

The contractor will ideally have the following background and experience and be able to be based 2 days a week in the office in either Bristol or Edinburgh - (£650 per day via umbrella - six months rolling)

Applicants will ideally have the following background

• Experienced in the design/architecture of infrastructure solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment, e.g. IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Middleware, Storage, Network and Databases.
• Skilled at producing quality concise design documentation, with an emphasis on decisions and diagrams necessary to mobilise delivery
• Hands-On experience of end-to-end project delivery, working with Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall delivery models including modern software development and deployment practices
• Understanding of building applications through containerised microservices-based architectures, with a working understanding of cloud methodologies.
• Be able to provide technical leadership in a complex multi-vendor environment.
