Income officer

The role

Orbit currently have a fantastic opportunity to join their Incomes team as an part time Income Officer (Account handler).

Your role will be to provide advice and assistance to customers on all areas related to income recovery. You will also be responsible for maximising income through tenancy enforcement and negotiation.

About you

To be a good fit for this role we are looking for someone with excellent all-round customer service and IT skills. You will be first point of contact to deal with customer enquiries and proactively contact customers to resolve debt issues and negotiate repayment arrangements.

To fulfil this part time fixed term contract effectively you must possess previous experience of working in a housing management, credit control or a debt management role. A good understanding of domestic budgeting, debt management and the benefit systems will also be essential.

You must be willing to travel when required and be able to work shifts between the hours of 8am-8pm.
