A well known, reputable brand in the heart of Manchester who have big connections to huge, national & international fashion houses are looking for an import merchandiser to come and join their team. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that stock is already delivered in the right place, & at the right time.

Not only will you protect the brands reputation with smooth processes, you'll also be working closely to international & national retailers which is great for building your own network and learning how key fashion businesses operate.

AS THE IMPORT MERCHANDISER:

• Act as a project manager on the delivery of product
• Responsible and accountable for understanding the full whereabouts of product at all times
• Work closely to the core merchandising function
• Clear communicator to supply chain and logistic functions internally, but also within partners
• Ability to clearly communicate with warehouses and suppliers
• Understanding and experience of working with and communicating to 3rd party handling
• Experience with critical path and delivery schedules
• Can spot and flag any delayed lines to wider business
• Manage all orders along with PO management
