Role: Multimodal Freight Forwarder
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 DOE

Are you a Multimodal Freight Forwarder experienced with Imports or Exports? ?????

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Managing and routing Ocean/ Road/ Sea Freight shipments (hands on, start to finish relevant training on Freight provided)
  • Preparing quotes
  • Checking and collecting relevant documentation
  • Obtaining clearance instructions
  • Customs entries
  • Speaking to Shipping lines, Hauliers and Overseas Agents
  • Regularly liaising with customers, keeping them informed and dealing with any questions inquiries

Requirements:

  • Detailed logistics and forwarding operations/regulations and documentation experience
  • CDS knowledge is advantageous.
  • Computer literacy using Microsoft software and/or other market-leading software applications.
