A new opportunity has arisen for an Import Customer Service Coordinator to join our client based in Essex who provide global supply chain solutions.

As the Import Customer Service Coordinator, your role is to maintain effective communication and relationships with overseas partners, ensuring the company is always providing the best possible customer services.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be liaising with customers and colleagues, ensuring all customer spreadsheets and special instructions are correctly followed.

Import Customer Service Coordinator duties include:

  • Build and develop constructive relationships with key customers and suppliers.
  • Ensure all pre-alert documentation is received from overseas partners.
  • Complete customs clearances, ensuring all relevant information and instructions are collected.
  • Ensure relevant information is given to Transport Companies to ensure customer delivery requirements are always met.
  • Ensure all consignments are loaded onto system correctly (either manually or via EDI).
  • Assist with resolving any issues.
  • Take responsibility of any accounting issues or queries.
  • Ensure all files are correctly invoiced and costed.

The successful Import Customer Service Coordinator will have previous experience working in a Customer Service role, as well as a minimum of 1 years' experience working within the industry.
