I am currently recruiting for a fixed term contract with the possibility to go perm. To ensure the efficient operations of the Human Resources functions supporting the Head of Finance and Resources.

This will be an immediate start so you must be immediately available.

To ensure the efficient operations of the Human Resources functions supporting the Head of Finance and Resources
1.Provide a professional, confidential and proactive HR support service.
2.Advise and support Senior Leadership Team on HR matters, ensuring compliance with the Trusts HR policies and procedures and seeking further advice from the Head of Finance and Resources as necessary.
3.Be the first point of contact for HR related queries e.g. advising on policies and procedures
4.Deliver excellent customer service at every opportunity

1.To administer starter / leaver processes including all documentation, induction processes and exit interviews.
2.To maintain and update electronic and hard copy personnel record systems containing all employment-related information including absence, holidays, starters and leavers, benefits and equality and diversity.
3.To provide administration support for the engagement of volunteers.
4.To prepare all letters or contracts for any changes to employee terms and conditions e.g. flexible working.
5.To handle maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave and parental leave administration processes and ensure that associated payroll processes are completed.
6.To support the implementation of HR systems or databases; to enter data and maintain these accordingly.
7.To prepare, as required, management reports on employee-related data to assist with the management and development of staff.
8.To provide a pension administration service liaising with external advisers.
9.To handle all initial contact for all HR related enquiries, signposting onwards as appropriate.
10. In the absence of the Business Manager, to escalate issues of concern to the Head Teacher or appropriate senior manager
11.To provide general HR administration support to the Business Manager as required including filing, telephone answering, scanning, photocopying and emails.
12.Ensure managing absence procedure is followed and additional action followed up as appropriate.
13.Prepare paperwork for return to work interviews and maintain absence records for internal and payroll records.
14.Make referrals of staff to Occupational Health as required and oversea the coordination or reasonable adjustments as recommended by OH.
