We are looking for a Full time (Monday - Friday) HR Advisor to work for one of our clients. The role will be based in our Cheltenham office but you will be required to work from the client's London office twice a week, with the likelihood of travel to other sites in and around London and Surrey.
The Advisor will be responsible for providing accurate, concise and practical advice on employment law and best practice for basic to high level queries. There will also be an element of administration work, and a combination of telephone and face to face meetings.
The Advisor will act as first point of contact for our client and integrate within their team working alongside other HR team members. The Advisor will be advising on all manner of issues relating to the employment of their staff on basic to high level matters such as disciplinary, grievance, harmonisation of t&cs, policy review, absence management, maternity, paternity, performance management and contract queries.
The applicant will need to be able to actively demonstrate a good knowledge of employment law and HR best practice and keep up to date with changes in legislation.
In order to fit the client requirements to offer a pro active and reactive service, the applicant will need to be prepared to travel and be flexible, sometimes at short notice.
