Seeking an HPC Engineer to work at the forefront of digital innovation, setting the industry standard with its cutting-edge technology for 3D creations and animations. Join this startup with a growing team of 20, that secured Seed funding last year and are in talks of Series A at the moment.
As an HPC Engineer, you will design, deploy, and maintain optimized GPU clusters for large-scale machine learning training and collaborate with ML scientists and software engineers, implementing job scheduling systems for efficient GPU resource use.
You'll also monitor and troubleshoot GPU clusters, evaluate local and cloud-based solutions, and manage GPU resource procurement, being responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the infrastructure that supports the ML and scientific computing workloads. While providing user training, staying updated on industry trends, and contributing to team documentation.
Requirements:
- Extensive hands-on experience in HPC, specifically with GPU clusters and Machine Learning.
- Proficiency in cluster management and job scheduling tools for efficient resource utilization.
- Strong Linux administration skills for managing HPC systems.
- Scripting knowledge (Bash and/or Python)
- Understanding and hands-on experience with parallel file systems for effective data management.
- Cloud computing skills, particularly with GPU instances, for modern HPC setups.
- Knowledge of popular deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow for ML-focused roles.
- Great communication skills
