Highways Representative in Gloucestershire £150-£200/day


Your new company
Your job will be working as a Highways Representative for a Local Authority Contractor
in the South West of England. The council is focused on improving the network of highways within its jurisdiction and its links to other areas.

Your new role
Your new role as a highway representative is to monitor and process incoming improvement requests from the public, on-site assessment and reporting. Your key duties will be to carry out inspections during and post works, to ensure that all works are in line with current legislation. You will also have to ensure that these works are compliant with technical specifications. You will also have to liaise with the asset management team as well as the public.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role it is vital that you are up to date with the latest new roads and street works act. Experience in the highways industry is also essential. Good communication skills are essential as you will be expected to liaise with the public and contractors. You will also be expected to record and compile reports. Must hold a full driving license.
