HGV CLASS 2  AM MULTI DROP DRIVERS 
Ongoing work, Temporary-Permanent positions available 
For this role YOU will ideally be based within a 30 minute commute of Bury/Manchester, to have held your class 2 licence for at least one year and have at least 3-6 months experience driving class 2 vehicles for our insurance purposes.  

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
£15.75 Monday to Friday (please note rates are PAYE only) 
£19.69 Saturday & Sunday  
£20.95 Overtime after 45 hours 
£23.65 Bank Holidays 

ROLE INFORMATION:
Rapier Employment  are currently seeking HGV Class 2  Drivers for our client based in Bury Radcliffe Area. You will average between 40 to 50 Hours per week and will involve working on a rota of any 4 or 5 out of the 7 days. This will involve working at least one of the days on a weekend. 

A usual shift consists of the Shop / Store Deliveries from our client’s premises in Bury, and can be physically demanding, you will be delivering caged food products using a tail lift. We require you to be customer focused as exposure to the customer is inevitable. This is long term work and often temp-perm positions for suitable Drivers. 

On site you will need to pass  a drug and alcohol test on a Monday. This will be followed by a Driving and Theory assessment on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Classroom training Thursday and Friday, followed by full training out on the road Monday-Friday the following week.

  • - Fresh/Frozen/Chilled Produce

  • - Weekend Work
  • - Start times between 0400-0900
  • - 38 - 50 hours per week
YOU WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
  • Category C on your licence
  • Experience of retail multi drop
  • You should have held your HGV class 2 licence for at least 12 months
  • At least 3-6 months class 2 experience
  • A positive attitude
  • We cannot accept the following endorsement codes on our insurance.  DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS on your driving licence. 
  • Valid Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
