HGV Class 1 Trunk Driver

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Trunk Drivers on behalf of our client to join our well-known client's distribution site based in Severn Beach, Bristol (BS35 4DF).

This HGV Class 1 Driving position involves Trunking trailers around the country, this can be a mixture of trailer swaps or live loads/unloads.

HGV Class 1 Trunk Driver Rota:

• Sunday to Thursday
• Monday to Friday
• 15:00 - 23:00 start time (PM)
• 04:00am or 12:00 start time (AM)

HGV Class 1 Trunk Driver Will Need to Ensure:

• The safe delivery/swapping of trailers at each designated location.
• Ensuring the goods delivered match against the delivery paperwork.
• The collection of the correct assigned trailers.
• Provide a high level of customer service that is always maintained.
• Follow all company procedures and ensuring the accurate completion of all paperwork with each shift.
• Always abide by Health & Safety to ensure you work in a manner that keeps you and your colleagues safe.
• Always notify the Central Office at the earliest opportunity of any delays.

HGV Class 1 Trunk Driver Required Skills:

• Hold a valid a C+E License
• Hold a valid Tacho and CPC card
• No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
• Have a minimum of 6 months commercial driving experience
• assessment required prior to starting.

PAYE Rates for HGV Class 1 Trunk Driver:

• Monday to Friday - £19
• Saturday - £22 per hour
• Sunday - £22 per hour
• Overtime After 48 hours - £22.00

This position is commutable from: Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare, Bath, Gloucester, Newport, Cardiff, Chepstow
