Our client are a fast growing ecommerce business.

Due to continued growth they now require a Head of Digital Marketing.

You will be at the frontline of an emerging fast paced sector.

Whilst this is a diverse and broad role our client are specifically looking for somebody with a strong SEO background, as SEO will be the core focus.

They are looking to dramatically increase their presence online and need a creative SEO to make that happen.

This is an opportunity to take on a very broad in-house role and effectively build your own department. Reporting directly to the marketing director you will be responsible for the entire online marketing operation, with the exception of Adwords/Bing PPC, for a fast growing e-commerce business.

If you want a broad experience of everything it takes to run a successful e-commerce business, then this role is for you.

Whilst primarily we are looking for an experienced SEO with demonstrable experience creatively getting links and coverage for e-commerce sites, you will also have strong knowledge and understanding of CRO and UX. You will be responsible for multiple websites and doing everything you can to ensure they are functioning correctly and that the conversion rate is on the up. Knowledge of Magento and Wordpress, while not required, will be an advantage.

Most suited to a creative digital marketer, rather than a very narrow agency role this is a very broad in house role with the freedom to use all of your creativity to develop innovative strategies.

You will develop and execute SEO strategy and also be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of various digital marketing projects, from SEO, to content marketing, to link building, to social, to A/B testing landing pages, to CRO and UX projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with staff and external developers on the usability, design, maintenance, and content of the company websites.
  • Develop and execute innovative SEO and digital strategy to drive traffic, revenue and new customer acquisition
  • Measure, track, report, and analyse marketing campaigns
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
  • Competitor research and analysis

Minimum Requirements

5+ years agency experience

Understanding of SEO, Google Analytics. Excellent organization and time management skills Communication and team management skills

Solid IT and Computer skills

Must be an excellent communicator
