Salary: £115,000 to £126,000 per annum plus car allowance

The Head of Develop & Deploy Solutions will be responsible for the successful and effective delivery of all Information Services and Business Services programmes and projects.

Summary of Job Description and Duties:

As Head of Develop & Deploy Solutions, you will be a member of the Information Systems (IS) leadership team and lead Solution Delivery’s contribution to the development of the Business Services and Information Services strategies. This will involve:

  • Leading the development, implementation, management and improvement of the regional operating model to deliver IS and Business Services solutions in the most effective manner, build and retain intellectual property and talent, and respond flexibly to changing business demand.

  • Overseeing the development of the Collaborational, Informational, Transactional and Technical aspects of the Enterprise architecture roadmap to ensure the creation and evolution of IS solutions that will meet business needs and requirements, and exploit emerging technology trends and developments.

  • Establishing, embedding and overseeing the mechanisms needed to ensure that Solution Delivery is being appropriately governed and that risks are being effectively managed, and to ensure the consistency and quality of Solution Delivery activities and outputs.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required for the Role:

  • A University degree in computer science, business administration or degree in relevant technical science is essential.

  • Extensive experience of SAP development, implementation and design experience (we would generally expect the successful candidate to have at least 10 years’ previous experience but will consider applications from those with less experience).

  • Extensive previous experience of FMCG/beverage companies and related solutions and processes, preferably within beverage companies.

  • Extensive previous experience of working with 3rd party integrators and providing architecture solutions and guidelines.

  • SAP certification across multiple SAP core modules.

  • Expert level competency in SAP development functionality and implementation methodology.

  • Knowledge of IS strategies, standards and policies, organisational structures and processes, with strong experience in regional ERP implementation.

  • Proven ability to closely manage all SAP activities, ensuring all development requests are coordinated through the SAP Solution design team, maintaining governance of the change/release plan to ensure changes are timely and well-managed.

  • Strong Business understanding, good communicator at executive levels and proven competency in leadership.

  • Excellent understanding of advanced management techniques and processes (e.g. cost-benefit analysis, decision analysis, negotiating and financial analysis), incorporating geographically dispersed teams and remote working.

  • Proven track record in directing teams effectively and in producing effective innovative solutions on an enterprise scale.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across large complex organisations, with an understanding of multiple cultures.
