The Client:

Our client is a reputable educational firm, providing a dynamic and supportive environment tailored for children aged 3 to 11 years.

The Role:

As a Grounds Person, you will contribute to school upkeep, with a primary focus on sports fields, lawns, shrubbery, paths, and borders.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake minor construction and landscaping work.
• Execute weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance program.
• Mark out and set up playing pitches.
• Utilise appropriate techniques for sports surface care.
• Assist with garden area maintenance.
• Address seasonal tasks like leaf clearance and snow removal.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, students, and external users.
• Ensure safe equipment operation.
• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines.
• Fulfil reasonable requests aligned with role responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as a Grounds Person or in a similar role.
• General knowledge of grounds maintenance.
• Capacity to handle diverse and demanding workloads.
• Previous work experience in the education sector. (Beneficial)
