Greenfield Data & Insights Lead

I am currently partnered with a growing utilities business with offices across the north west who are looking for a Data & Insight Lead to spearhead and grow their data function from scratch. The business are already working on contemporary cloud platforms, with the view of utilising the full Azure platform in order to further develop and build a data warehouse and roll out Power BI for reporting. The successful candidate will also be responsible for putting together a data strategy for the business and roadmap, with a view of further growing and developing the function over time.

The successful Data & Insight Lead will have the following experience:
* A minimum of 4 years experience in a data engineering / lead role
* Extensive experience working with Microsoft BI / Data technologies
* Experience working within the Azure data platform (Data factory, Synapse, Databricks etc)
* Experience in creation and development of Power BI
* Prior experience in greenfield projects would be highly desirable

The role is offering a salary of up to £70,000 in addition to a range of benefits that include the opportunity to work remote 2-3 days per week - with office locations based around the UK.
