This is a 1 year fixed-term contract for 3 University students completing a placement year as part of their degree.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to specific Grants Management projects 
  • Contribute to the delivery of funding programmes and the processing of funding applications as part of the programme support team 
  • Support the analysis of Sport England’s Award Data and process for sharing this data through Government and National Lottery databases.

Specific duties can be tailored to the interests or studies of the student and could include work in the areas of audit, project compliance or fraud management.

Requirements for the role:

  • You must be legally able to work in the UK as this is a paid placement. 
  • You must be at least two years into your undergraduate degree and looking for a placement in industry before returning to university to study for the final year of your course.

Required competencies:

  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management demonstrating ability to prioritise
  • Ability to interrogate and analyse data
