Graduate Developer/Programmer

Posted 17 January by Chris Cobbold Limited Ended

Graduate Developer/Programmer - Python, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, Agile/Scrum.

£22-25k + fantastic benefits + funding for training / certifications + excellent opportunities for career progression!

Graduate Developer/Programmer with a 2:1 or 1:1 degree in Computer Science, Physics or Engineering (or similarly technical subject showing good mathematical/programming ability) required by long established & highly successful organisation based between Stowmarket & Bury St Edmunds to join their sociable & talented 50-strong IT team as a result of continued growth.

The successful candidate can look forward to working in a challenging & varied role that will draw on your experience gained across a range of academic software development projects (you will be expected to talk through one or two of these in the interview). A strong grasp of the principles of object oriented programming is essential together with some experience (academic fine) of Python, JavaScript & HTML; any further knowledge of SQL (database querying) or Agile/Scrum methodologies would also be useful but is by no means a pre-requisite. Other priorities for my client including finding someone with an analytical mind, solid mathematical & problem solving skills as well as an ability to work independently & innovatively (pushing boundaries, thinking outside of the box). In return for your skills & commitment, you can look forward to receiving a highly competitive basic salary, an excellent benefits package (including funding for relevant certifications) & unrivalled opportunities for personal development & career progression.

Keen to know more? Simply, send me an email with your CV attached & we can have an initial conversation in the strictest confidence. I look forward to hearing from you!
