Geography Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a dedicated Geography Teacher to join this school that provide a range of opportunities to create well-rounded students that are fully prepared for their life. This will be an ongoing position paying up to £189 a day.

Job Duties:

• Planning work in accordance with departmental schemes of work and national curriculum programmes of study.
• Taking account of pupils' prior levels of attainment and use them to set future targets.
• Setting work when required for absent pupils.
• Maintaining good discipline by following the school's pupil disciplinary policies and procedures.
• Establishing a purposeful working atmosphere during all learning activities.
• Setting appropriate and challenging work for all pupils.

• Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Have good problem-solving skills
• Be creative and resilient
• Have great critical thinking skills
