Our Client is a passenger car dealership based in Qatar; they have an immediate opportunity available for an ambitious General Sales Manager who will have responsibility for maximising the sales and profitability of vehicles and associated products, you must possess and be able to demonstrate first class selling and marketing skills gained within the retail automotive arena at General Sales Manager or Brand Manager level.
Controlling costs in conjunction with departmental and dealership objectives and business plans, you will ensure that profit targets are achieved, margins maintained and expenses controlled, utilising all resources cost effectively.
With excellent leadership skills, you will have practical and recent experience of effectively managing, coaching, motivating and developing the people within the sales department to ensure that the highest customer experience standards are evident throughout the department. This will not only ensure strong departmental performance and customer retention but in addition staff retention, succession planning, and the management of poor performers.

Your interpersonal skills will ensure that your department has a strong customer focus in line with business objectives and you must therefore be an excellent communicator who is firm, fair, creative, assertive and highly professional.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise workloads, you will demonstrate and ensure compliance with manufacturer operating processes. Leading by example, you will ensure that this is demonstrated throughout the department. You will therefore have up to date knowledge of vehicle legislation, consumer legislation and trade practices with strong, relevant and practical knowledge of modern business methods and controls.
What's on offer?
Salary and HRA USD $8,000 per month plus quarterly bonus (4-6 months of salary), company car, annual ticket, healthcare and contribution towards school fees.
