NEW VACANCY -

I am recruiting for a major groupage operator looking for an experience General Manager to join their new start up office based in the Kent area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a successful, commercially driven Manager to run and develop the London office and grow it with the support and investment from overseas offices.

You will be responsible for controlling freight requirements, arranging collections with partners and liaising with overseas offices to ensure customers needs are met. Developing business to add volume to existing services and generating new business.

Requirements:

  • You MUST have a wealth of freight forwarding experience in roadfreight services ideally in the Irish market and general European road haulage.
  • Understanding of customs processes
  • Commercially driven
  • Ideally previous experience in a new set up company
  • Business development

Working hours:

  • Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
