Gardener - Parks & Open Spaces (Preston)

We’re currently recruiting for a Gardener to join our dedicated team working across Preston’s parks and public spaces. If you take pride in creating and maintaining green areas for the community to enjoy, this could be your ideal role.

Position Details:

• Pay: £13.05 per hour
• Driver essential
• Experience required in grounds maintenance or a related field

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out a variety of grounds maintenance tasks including landscaping, horticulture, litter removal, and upkeep of public areas
• Operating and maintaining equipment used in park care
• Supporting seasonal tasks such as planting, mowing, pruning, and leaf clearance

Working Hours:

• Peak Season: 7:30am - 4:30pm (42 hours per week)
• Off Season: 7:30am - 3:15pm (36.25 hours per week)

We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic individuals who are hardworking and able to take initiative. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
