We are currently working with a well renowned financial services firm who are seeking to hire full-stack developers for their growing team based in Glasgow. The role will be more focused towards front-end development and Angular experience is key. The right candidate will be bright and ambitious with 4-8 years experience within a similar role. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development: Work on the client-side of applications using modern web technologies 

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Java.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create seamless user experiences.

• Ensure code quality, performance, and security across both backend and frontend systems.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the full stack.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to continually improve development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Angular is a must. 

• Proficiency in Java for backend development (Spring Boot experience is a plus).

• Strong knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database management (SQL/NoSQL)

• Understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and best practices.

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
