We are seeking a Freight Forwarder who will expedite inbound and cross trade movements on behalf of our clients in their interests whilst delivering strategic objectives of the group.

Our performance stems from a worldwide network of experts and from value-added integrated information systems and tools which afford complete visibility on all operations throughout the entire supply chain.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and arrangement of international consignments according to client instructions and requirements.

• Receiving of pre-alerts and shipping documentation.

• End to end monitoring of inbound and outbound movements.

• Opening of files for Air, Sea Road & Courier shipments.

• Issuing customs clearance instructions and ensuring 100% compliance with AEO and customs policy.

• Daily invoicing and job costing.

• Follow up of purchase orders/shipments.

• Maintenance of SOPs.

• Communication with overseas offices/partners.

• Quoting new traffic / new trade lanes.

• Ensuring we meet company DATA Quality KPI with required tracking information.

• Ensuring any PM queries are cleared within KPI timeframe.

• Collecting VAT/Duty from customers if required.

• Other duties as reasonably requested by line manager.

Experience/ Qualities:

• Sea freight experience required – customs knowledge preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivator who also works well as part of a team.

• Ability to handle pressure and good time-management.
