Our client is an exciting, young and rapidly growing tech start-up with offices in London and China.
Having gone from strength to strength, they are now expanding the team in London and are looking for an organisational whizz to help them in a Founder Support capacity. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience across a broad range of business areas in a short space of time. This is a temp to perm position with a 3 month probation period.
About the Role
In this vital role working closely with the founders, you’ll be involved in high-level meetings and will have responsibility from day one. You’ll also have the opportunity and freedom to engage with all departments across the business.
You are the ultimate people person, and nothing delights you more than helping others. Switched on and keen to take initiative, you 'make stuff happen’ and nothing fazes you.
You’ll have impeccable time-keeping and an obsessive eye for detail. You thrive when juggling multiple tasks at once and enjoy the fact that no day will ever be the same! A primary part of your role will be communicating between the founders and other department heads, and you are not afraid to instruct others or act on a founder’s behalf when necessary. You will have access to sensitive information and involvement in key business meetings, so the ability to respect confidentiality is imperative.
Your spoken and written English are at an excellent level, you understand how important tone and language are when dealing with colleagues and clients, and you are a speed-demon at typing! You will be inquisitive and eager to get to grips with the inner workings of a start-up business, having the confidence to suggest changes and improvements where necessary.
Some previous PA/Office Assistant experience would be highly desirable.
Organised - Someone who knows what is happening before it happens. Loves an up-to-date inbox or colour-coded calendar and feels comfortable scheduling meetings or making travel arrangements.
Self-Starter - Someone who is able to identify the tasks that need to be done, prioritise efficiently and communicate effectively.
Fun/Positive but focused person- Someone who can get their head down and work but can also be a vibrant part of their fun, sociable team.
A 'Doer’ - Someone who is impatient to deliver and who loves nothing more than rolling up their sleeves to get stuck in.
