**Job Summary:**

As a Forklift Operator you will play a crucial role in the daily operations by efficiently and safely handling materials and products. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The primary objective is to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of materials while adhering to all safety guidelines and maintaining a high level of efficiency.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse or production facility.
2. Load and unload trucks, stack and unstack pallets, and move materials to and from designated areas.
3. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and perform routine inventory checks.
4. Collaborate with other team members and departments to fulfill material requests and support production schedules.
5. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
6. Keep the work area clean and organised, and participate in routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.

**Qualifications:**

1. Proven experience as a forklift operator in a similar work environment.
2. Valid forklift certification/license.
3. Understanding of forklift operations and safety regulations.
4. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
