Counterbalance Forklift Driver – Tamworth – £13.05 Per Hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our well-established client based in Tamworth.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £13.05 per hour, Monday-to-Friday daytime shifts, ongoing work and opportunities for growth and progression within an established logistics operation.

£13.05 Per Hour | Monday to Friday | 06:00–15:30 | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Full Training

Please note: This role involves working outdoors, so candidates must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a Counterbalance FLT Driver, Forklift Truck Operator, FLT Driver or Forklift Truck Operative.

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, your duties will include:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Manual handling of products
• Supporting goods in and goods out operations
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Working outdoors as required

Essential Skills

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable with manual handling duties
• Good reliability and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Strong attention to detail

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck
• Experience within a warehouse, yard or logistics environment

Training Provided

• Full training provided
• Ongoing development and support throughout your assignment
