Progressive job opportunity for a Forensic Accountant in Manchester to join a specialist forensics firm.

You will join an international firm of accounting, valuation, investigation and technology specialists who work with insurance, legal, corporate and public sector clients to evaluate economic damages and determine financial value, wherever needed and whatever is being claimed.
This specialist firm are looking to recruit an experienced forensic accountant into their Manchester office. In this role you will work closely with the local Partner in developing the Manchester office, as well as enjoying wider opportunities within the firm. This firm combine their skills and experience with financial models, methodologies and technologies to produce evidence of the highest quality and the firm is well renowned in its field.
Your new role
As a forensic accountant you will be responsible for managing a range of assignments and working closely with the partner of the Manchester office to develop the office. Your workload will mainly consist of a range of business insurance and litigation assignments with a range of case values. Your day to day job responsibilities will include carrying out the quantification of claims on behalf of Insurers, Loss Adjusters, Lawyers and others, analysing data and both financial and non-financial information, applying a forensic approach and preparing clear and concise reports. You will take a lead in managing and developing client relationships for the majority of assignments and with this, you will be expected to travel to client sites, work to tight deadlines and hold various client meetings. Whilst the majority of your time will be chargeable you will also be expected to work with the partner in developing the business and winning work.
What you'll need to succeed
This Forensic Firm are looking to appoint a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) who has a considerable amount of post qualified experience. You must be able to demonstrate prior experience of delivering a range of forensic assignments or insurance claim evaluations. The partners are looking for a Forensic Accountant who can demonstrate intellectual curiosity and is a detail orientated individual. You must possess strong communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.
