Long term Food Technology Teacher – Secondary Surrey needed!

Reed Education Guildford are currently working with a fantastic school within Guildford for an exciting Design Technology/Food Technology Teacher role starting in February Half term to cover maternity on a long term basis.

The Role:
The school are looking for an all-round teacher of Food Technology who is passionate about their subject. You will have a creative flair and a real enthusiasm for working with children, providing strong leadership and support to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 – 4 and achieve great results.

Experience of teaching Child Development would be desirable, whilst knowledge and experience of teaching food skills, nutrition and food science up to the first year of GCSE is essential. It would also be of benefit if you have a good knowledge of differentiation.

What you will need:
• A teaching qualification/QTS
• Proven experience teaching Food and Nutrition in the UK
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
