Our client is ideally located for applicants residing towards East Derbyshire, South Sheffield or Nottinghamshire, close to the A38/M1 intersection.

The position involves moving manufactured stock items around a large outdoor stock yard, loading and unloading vehicles and the preparation of consignments for dispatch. It is essential that applicants have a current, in date counterbalance forklift licence.

The work is outdoors based, working within small teams to expedite the stock cycle requirements of the business and working to strict health and safety confines.

These positions are long term with the intention of growing within the business.

The company provides new starter staff training within the first few weeks of employment to help with the induction process. As part of the training process new operatives will also be provided with training (and in turn certification) for a side loader truck and telehandler machinery.

Work Patterns
Monday - Friday - Rotational morning/afternoon shifts (6am/2pm 2pm/10pm)

Please note: There are no exceptions to the hours stated, applicants who are unable to perform both shifts will be excluded from the recruitment process.

Pay rate and Overtime
£9.37 per hour

The business may offer overtime working in line with product demand, this may include weekend working.

We are looking for candidates who are used to working in an outside environment and who have experience working in adverse weather conditions.
