My client is a leading specialist in designing and manufacturing high quality engineering products. Over the years my client has developed specific technical ways to meet the demands of clients within sectors they work in, ensuring that they stay at the top of their industry. My client is looking for a FLT Driver with warehouse experience to support and work closely with their warehouse team.

FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative
Accrington
£12.03 per hour and Pension, wellbeing package, OT available, sick pay scheme and 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Mon-Thurs 8am-4.45pm & Fri – 8am-12pm (37hours a week)

Key Responsibilities of the role but NOT limited too.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Organisation of raw materials.
  • Assist with booking goods in and out.
  • Forklift work is a large part of this role.
  • Complete the correct paperwork and input correctly on internal systems.
  • Working as part of a team.
  • Work in a safe manner complying with HSE requirements.
  • Support other departs when required to do so.

Skills

  •  Upbeat, energised and positive.
  • Forklift licence is essential (Counterbalance)
  • Good clear communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Good organisation skills and able to prioritise workload.
  • Must be reliable.
  • Able to cope with physical demands of the job.
  • Competent IT Skills – Outlook, Excel and Word (Essential)
  • Previous Warehouse work is a benefit
  • Handling and identifying metals is a benefit but not essential
