Our well-established and professional client based in Hertfordshire is recruiting a Float Legal Secretary to join their busy and friendly team. The successful candidate should ideally have previous experience of Wills and Probate and Litigation and experience of Conveyancing would also be a advantageous. The role is a full-time permanent position working from 9am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday and the successful candidate will be required to travel to two other local offices when required. The role offers a competitive salary.

Duties include:

  • Word processing / typing and collating correspondence and other documents, amending and formatting documents quickly and accurately
  • Day to day administrative duties
  • Provide secretarial support to different departments including Wills and Probate, Litigation and Conveyancing when required
  • Liaise with clients and third parties
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to clients and introducers at all times
  • Deal with clients on the telephone and by e-mail, taking messages accurately and passing to appropriate person(s)
  • Creating and amending legal documents
  • Monthly billing
  • Updating and maintaining contact data
  • Working as part of a team
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and the firm’s policies in general
  • Other support services as required

Skills/Experience:

  • Experienced Legal Secretary with some previous experience of Wills and Probate and Litigation. Conveyancing experience beneficial
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Fast and accurate audio typing skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Efficient, reliable and helpful
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Able to travel to different locations when required
