A new vacancy has arisen for an experienced Fire Risk Surveyor to cover Northern England. The successful candidate will be experienced in undertaking fire safety inspections of commercial, industrial and residential premises. You will report on and advise the public/business owners on fire safety related matters, producing and serving legal notices, liaising with local authorities and other enforcing bodies. Additionally you will undertake training on fire safety to individuals and groups of client employees.
To provide reports in an agreed format which will include accurate risk information, with recommendations and requirements to improve the risk and ensure it complies with all level requirements. You must be highly self-motivated to working in a productive manner, have good communication skills, for client meetings etc. and have experience of working in the Insurance and Risk Management Industry. You must be able to sell and negotiate the improvements that you recommend, so strength of character is important. Qualifications in Health and Safety and Risk Management essential.
