Financial Inclusion Officer
A Housing Association in the City of London is looking for a Financial Inclusion Officer to join their team on a permanent basis

Purpose of the job:
To be responsible for assisting individual residents with managing their money and responding to welfare changes as well as inputting into the Group's wider approach to financial exclusion issues

Your duties will include:
You will be contacting residents who would benefit from support and advice
You will be managing a busy caseload and working closely with residents to provide support that is tailored to individual needs
You will be helping individuals managing their finances, providing financial capability advice, and undertaking income maximisation and benefit entitlement checks when appropriate
You will be building links and working in partnership with outside advice and support agencies as well as community based organisations

You will have:
Have experience of supporting individuals face-to-face using a person-centered approach and a good knowledge of issues relating to indebtedness and financial/social exclusion are a must
Have a good local knowledge of existing support services and networks
