The role will report into a highly charismatic Financial Controller and will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to further streamline processes and optimise reporting.
Within the role you will be responsible for
Leading on the production of all year end statutory accounts, liaising with colleagues and external audit partners.
Production of the monthly financial accounts pack including balance sheet reconciliations and journals.
Ensure the timely and accurate production of all VAT reporting.
Assist in the Corporation tax reporting.
Act as the key point of contact for the external Audit Partners.
Ensure that all financial reports are in line with both internal and external controls frameworks.
Educating the wider finance function on controls updates and their ramifications.
Contribute to the wider performance of the finance team, taking a lead on process and system improvement activities.
To be considered for this role you must be ACA/ACCA with experience of working in a fast paced and dynamic business.
An up to date understanding and working experience of controls frameworks is essential.
Excel skills up to Pivots, Look Ups and Ifs are absolutely essential.
