Client Details

Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Producing multiple sets of statutory accounts for group companies, including liaison with external audit, prior to formal signing.

  • Preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly & annual National Statistics returns accurately and on time.

  • Taking responsibility for balance sheet accounts, including undertaking monthly reconciliations, validating balances and ensuring the resolution of any differences identified.

  • Reconciling inter-company accounts on a monthly basis and instruct the Accounts Assistant on settlement amounts

  • Taking responsibility for the maintenance of the fixed asset registers for the different companies, including review of additions to ensure they are compliant with accounting standards, and to identify assets to be retired.

  • Assisting in the annual budget and monthly forecast process for capital expenditure.

  • Taking responsibility for the maintenance of the fixed asset registers for the different companies, including review of additions to ensure they are compliant with accounting standards, and to identify assets to be retired.

  • Undertaking a monthly analysis of key accounts with tax sensitivities as directed by the Head of Tax.

  • Providing information to the Head of Tax for inclusion in P11Ds.

Profile

To be considered for the role you will have:

  • Strong academic credentials, including working towards a professional accounting qualification with a track record of passed exams, e.g. ACCA, CIMA
  • Experience with producing statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS and FRS102
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels across the business
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent time management / planning skills with personal flexibility to ensure tight deadlines are met
  • Strong work ethic, flexible, adaptive to change and a team player
