What you will be doing:The Finance Executive role is primarily responsible for supporting the Central Processing Supervisor with the payment of financial assistance to our members while they seek work, this is done through BACs or Cheque payments or though the issue of Travel cards, Vouchers and Petty cash at each operational site. The role includes the responsibility for the periodic accounting for all site stock, ensuring all journals are prepared and posted in line with the specified deadlines. This includes the production and reconciling of site balance sheets, including the investigation and reporting of site variances. A key aspect of this role will be to ensure that all Reed in Partnership staff adhere to the national finance processes, as part of this the role will be involved in the delivering of finance process training to new and existing co-members. Criteria:

Essential: • Demonstrable experience in a busy multi-site finance environment • Good accounting systems knowledge • Experience of reconciling balance sheet accounts • Good Microsoft Excel and analytical skills • Excellent communication skills with an ability to build robust working relationships with co-members in and outside of the Finance environment • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail • Ability to deal with conflicting priorities and a number of tasks concurrently • The ability to grasp complex processes quickly Desirable: Desirable Criteria:  Experience of petty cash or stock balance sheet reconciliation  Delivering training to colleagues
