Job Role: MIG & TIGWelder/Fabricator
Location: Glossop
Shift: Days Only - Monday to Thursday (Friday and Saturday optional overtime)
Salary: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour, depending on experience

Metalis is working in partnership with a prestigious fabrication company in Glossop who, due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Fabricator/Welder to their team.

This company has a solid order book with blue chip companies, producing both large scale and complex fabrications. They specialise in full turnkey projects - offering a varied workload/product range.

With it's modern approach, they also offer flexible working between 7am to 5pm Monday to Thursday - completing 37.5 hours, overtime on Friday and Saturday, if wanted.

Job Duties:

  • MIG & TIG Welding - Fabricating - materials include carbon steel, stainless, plastic, exotic alloy and structural
  • Working on projects as diverse as small, high-specification tasks to manufacturing large industrial-sized fabrication processing plants.
  • Reviewing technical / engineering drawings and sketches.
  • Inspecting work
  • Maintaining welding equipment and machines etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of MIG & TIG welding processes
  • Ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment
  • Happy with variation in their work
  • A good team player, happy to support other tasks to achieve deadlines
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
