Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for EYFS students.
  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities that promote holistic development.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to children who may require additional assistance.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive educational community.
  • Contribute to the assessment and observation of children's progress, maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the EYFS team to plan and implement a curriculum that aligns with EYFS principles and guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in an Early Years setting, preferably in Reception.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and its practical application in a classroom setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the development of young children and creating positive learning experiences.

  • Patient and nurturing with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of individual learners and differentiate support accordingly.
