Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in the Denton area of Tameside. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in a nurturing and stimulating environment, supporting children during a crucial stage in their development.

The Role:

  • Work collaboratively with the EYFS teacher to deliver the EYFS curriculum.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to children in a variety of engaging and interactive learning activities.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to different learning styles.
  • Assist with daily routines and ensure the well-being of the children in your care.
  • Observe and document children's progress, contributing to effective assessment and planning.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and the wider school community.

You Will Be:

  • A patient, enthusiastic, and creative individual with a genuine passion for early years education.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to build rapport with young children and create a fun and stimulating learning environment.
  • Organized and resourceful, with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
  • Qualified with a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and experience in the EYFS setting is desirable.
