The position of Export Sales Executive would suit a very strong account manager/sales person who has a wealth of experience and knowledge within the chemical and technical sector. You will be used to overseas travel (this role incorporates regular visits within Europe), preferably a 2nd European language and live within a reasonable proximity to an airport.
Overall you will be the connection for both internal and external customers and distributors both in the UK and globally. You will be supporting business growth through account development and identifying new business, assisting with product launches and handling technical and commercial enquiries.
Other responsibilities of Export Sales Executive include:
- Responsibility and ownership of managing key accounts and new accounts
- Working closely with external sales & office-based colleagues to handle new and existing sales enquiries
- Discussing, quoting and selling technical products with clients and colleagues
- Monthly/Bi-monthly trips overseas to visit clients/attend events and exhibitions
- Following up on new leads
- Working as part of a team who all share the same goals
The person we are looking for must have experience within this field, excellent communication skills and most of all have a passionate and energetic demeanour. In return you will be offered a basic salary of up to circa £45,000 per annum, mileage expenses plus pension (10% of salary), private medical insurance, 33 days’ annual leave.
