Our client, a leading global design and manufacturer based in Farnborough, is recruiting for an Export Sales Administrator reporting to the Head of International Sales.
Hours: 09:00 to 17:30 hrs Monday to Thursday and 09:00 to 15:00 hrs on a Friday.
To provide a high level of support to the International customers and to the International Sales department.
SPECIFIC JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Order processing, invoicing and customer service for specific international customers.
To provide administrative support to the International Sales department.
GENERAL INTERNATIONAL DEPARTMENT JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Keeping departmental spreadsheets updated including sales statistics.
Inform customers of key developments and new product launches.
Follow up new enquiries for International Markets.
Coordinating high stock, clearance and direct order consolidation offers.
Assisting with arranging internal meetings with specific international customers.
Coordination of international distributor conferences, shows and exhibitions (alongside Sales Managers and Marketing).
Sending out catalogues, samples and literature.
Answer the telephone and dealing with enquiries.
General filing, photocopying and binding.
Assisting International Sales Managers in preparing for customer meetings e.g. PowerPoint presentations and sales statistics.
BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in working with International Sales, an understanding of Export documentation and Inco terms.
An administrator, who is confident in dealing with all types of people at all different levels, including telephone enquiries from international customers and distributors.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
Good grasp and understanding of a sales driven environment.
Customer focused and proactive.
Ability to adapt to an environment where there are few people working in a close-knit team, where resources are scarce and a hands-on approach to the business is a pre-requisite for success.
Although not essential, knowledge of another European language would be an advantage.
Good problem solver.
Enjoys data analysis.
Knowledge of Microsoft NAV would be an advantage.
This role would suit someone who has worked in roles such as Sales Support, Sales Administration , Export Administrator.
